Pastini in Chicken Broth- with Nurturme scrumptious squash

My friend Abby's Mommy told mine about this pastini stuff, basically little bitty tiny pasta shaped like stars.  So my mommy got some and made them for me. She cooked them in chicken broth, added pureed chicken that she made for me too. She also added some Nurturme scrumptious squash. That stuff was delicious!!!!!  My friend Sonja was here to baby sit me so she was lucky and got to watch me eat, I know that was fun for her.

**Mommy says** Nurturme is a brand that makes dehydrated baby food, so basically I added powdered squash to the mixture.  It isorganic and BPA free.  Also- I have heard that people add this to baby food as a thickener instead of a grain, but from my research it is actually higher in calories and carbs, and not as nutritious as adding the grain- since most of the grains are nutritionally enhanced.

Recipe- feel free to tweak for your babies tastes! Keigan likes foods thicker, and this made two servings.

1 1/2 cups organic chicken broth.  ( I used a carton, BPA free)
1/4 cup pureed organic free range chicken (I pureed the chicken and froze it into individual portions)
1/4 cup pastini
1 pack nuturme baby food- scrumptious squash.

Super easy- boil the pasta in the broth until cooked. Mix in the powdered baby food until not lumpy- then pop in the cube of frozen chicken.  The frozen precooked chicken will help cool the dish down a bit. I served him half, and put the rest into a large size baby food jar for his lunch tomorrow.  I've also done this with the Nurturme crunchy carrots, but it didn't taste as good.  If it is thicker than your baby likes, just add more broth!
